Joshua works as an Associate in Special Situations at Met Zurich: sourcing venture-stage technology transactions, performing financial modelling and analysis, and financial structuring. Josh has a particular interest in the Internet of Things, Fintech, and applied blockchain technology verticals.
Joshua comes from a background in alternative capital, working for several long-short fixed income hedge funds, such as Cairn Capital. Most recently Joshua worked in private equity, in KKR’s newly opened Next Generation Technology growth equity fund.
At the London School of Economics, Josh specialised in Complex Adaptive Systems Theory & Fractal Models of Asset Returns, and in the philosophical dimensions of the Relativity of Simultaneity and of the Quantum Mechanical macro-objectification problem.
Furthermore, while still at the LSE, Joshua founded and led a charitable organisation associated with the LSE student union to provide career resources and vocational education to students, raising over £50,000 from financial sponsors such as Goldman Sachs, Man Group & JP Morgan.
